Career Service Center

ITMO University’s Career Services Department offers resources and support to students and alumni through all stages of their career. We also work closely with the industry, government and other stakeholders to create sustainable relationships for internships and employment. Employers in our network provide valuable feedback about the most in-demand skills so that we can train the most in-demand workforce.

Over the past several years, the employment rate for our graduates has been over 70 percent, and over 20 percent choose to continue their education. Among employers are top Russian and international companies, including Cisco, LG Electronics, Motorola, PepsiCo, Raiffeisen Bank, Deloitte.

Students and alumni can get a head start on their job search, polish interview skills, and get the most up-to-date information about the job market at regular events by partners such as SuperJob and Headhunter as well as at in-person sessions. For students

Thinking about your career but don’t know where to begin? Here, you can get a head start on your job search, polish your interview skills, and acquire the most up-to-date information!

• Depending on your scope of interest, we offer various jobs and internships inside and outside of ITMO in our catalog (in Russian). This is a database of job postings that is maintained to keep you updated. You can also check out the vacancies available at ITMO itself here. The current legislation allows international students with a student visa to work on a part-time basis.

• Take advantage of the event calendar to get regular updates on events pertaining to the job market, organized by companies and the university for ITMO students. Regular career fairs, workshops, and training opportunities can also be found in our project section (in Russian).

• ITMO’s Career Services Center also holds free individual consultations on writing CVs and cover letters, including internships registration. To schedule a consultation, please contact careers@itmo.ru. Don’t forget to indicate your name and ask questions!
